A summer residence in Riccione for a family from Bologna. A place of relaxation for a couple of well-known entrepreneurs with a daughter. The obvious reference to overseas architecture becomes archetypal: a pure volume that rests on a lava stone base that characterizes all the horizontal surfaces both internal that external. Clear homage to the origins, not far from the slopes of Etna Volcano, of one of the spouses.
Taking over from a colleague from the province of Ragusa first determines a cognitive approach to what has already been thought and done and then the will to make proposals. For example, the front and rear facades acquire a connotation with references to the 1950s more suited to the first post-war residential buildings present in the immediate vicinity.
Even the relationship with the outside, the swimming pool, the pre-existing annex used as a source of design. Like all the study of finishes and some of the most qualifying custom-made furnishings. The almost hypnotic contrast of black and white is the background to the works of art and some furnishings of well-known brands, the true passion of the hosts.
