Casa Garrassino Boli, located north of Milan near Parco Trotter, features windows overlooking a garden, rare in the city. To create a spacious living area, the two original rooms and the hallway were combined into a single open space. An independent wall of rough, unpolished concrete blocks between the hallway and living area redefines circulation, serving as a wardrobe and kitchen. The central kitchen frees space for a bedroom/office. The original bathroom was converted into two: an en-suite and a guest bathroom with a glass-concrete wall for natural light. The oak flooring, laid in a changing pattern, marks the transition between the hallway and the rest of the house.
